Good News!
Missing Pug dog Nesto is finally reunited with family.
We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that Nesto, the missing pug from Phagwara, Punjab, has finally been reunited with his loving family! 🎉🐾
The Ordeal: Nesto was tragically abducted by four individuals on January 4, 2014, around 11:40 pm. The culprits entered the house premises under the pretence of asking for donations for a religious event, and in a shocking turn of events, they took Nesto with them. The family realized he was missing just 10 minutes later and immediately began searching the neighbourhood. Neighbours reported seeing the four individuals running away, carrying something wrapped in a blanket.
The Search: Despite an exhaustive search that included posting about Nesto on local TV, placing ads in the newspaper with a reward offer, distributing pamphlets around Phagwara and neighbouring villages, and even getting help from police who reviewed CCTV footage, Nesto remained missing. The family, however, never lost hope and continued their relentless search.
The Miracle: Finally, on February 1, 2014, the breakthrough came. The family received a call from someone who spotted a pug in a nearby village. Early the next morning, the family rushed to the location, and to their immense relief and joy—it was Nesto!
Nesto had lost some weight and was a little weak, but he was safe and thrilled to be back home. The family gave the reward to the kind person who helped them, and they credit the widespread pamphlet distribution for making Nesto’s safe return possible.
Now, the atmosphere at home is one of happiness and relief. Nesto is back where he belongs, surrounded by love, and the family’s tension has finally lifted. 🐶❤️
This heartwarming reunion reminds us how important it is to spread the word and never give up hope. Welcome home, Nesto!
