🟢 Missing Dog Kuro Reunited with Family in Pune

[UPDATE]:

“KURO RETURNS”  on Saturday, March 4th 2016 at 7:00 pm. 🙂

She is 6 years mixed Labrador dog spotlessly shiny black, who never saw world beyond our garden gates. When I came back from clinic at 9 .30 pm, I felt I was hit by thunderbolt lighting. Kuro ran away. My world stopped.

We ran , walked , searched every nook  corner midnight , early morning non stop. We talked to every morning walker , security guards , eatables joints, friends , fruit , vegetable seller , social sites, unknown young group playing in ground , strangers , whoever we could possibly think off. Thinking about Kuro all alone made me nauseated and sick , of her survival in wilderness.

Saturday gone, Sunday gone, Monday gone, Tuesday gone, our search was 8 km radius.  We left no stone upturned, walked on dirtiest lanes, wild grass, for  one aim. My Kuro I want back at any cost. Then on Tuesday night, we decided to print 1000 copies of pamphlets.  It was going to print at 11:00 pm.  More days passes, more we got determined to get Kuro back, I sat silently thinking, about my Kuro physique, what would she do, her behaviour, her nature analysis, and I knew she is quite shy and introvert type. And, I never lost hope. I knew she is out there, where we are not walking her path.

Morning of 9th,again my search began. I would pass all the temples, pray God, Please let our feet walk towards her path. Let me go where  she is. My friends from Dehradun called and said, I would definitely get today. It was peace to my turmoil soul. At 9.30 when my car drove inside my gate after my search .

My guard muttered word, i couldn’t make sense, as my brain was preoccupied by Kuro thoughts. I got out of car and the guard said “KURO KURO KURO AA GAYA”. I turned and ran ran ran, hugged , hugged hugged. I could not  believe my eyes. Blindfolded with tears welling out.  I couldn’t let her go, nothing mattered in world. Only me and my Kuro.  No one existed that moment. The woman who found her near Shastri Nagar unused brts lane chowk, hardly 50 meters from my home. He was curled up, afraid, scary in hole dug,  hid for 4 days, without food and water. he intelligently survived the outside world and wild territorial dogs, to hide in place , where no one would spot for 4 days, the PMC lady cleaner whom we had told everyone as they walk all lanes sweeping found her.

She was my heroine, well rewarded, well appreciated , she was my god.  I thanked her and told her I’m forever indebted to you.  My rewards to find Kuro to her is minuscule, for what happiness and life she gave me and my family back. I salute her for her promptness and finding Kuro.

Please don’t leave your pets under any servants , guards.  If you have to do so, keep an eye and teach them to be careful because they are not dogs, as they think, but your child. Kuro returns chanting may bring your pets back and believing in yourself, your gods, your almighty will bring them back . Never lose hope, I never did.

So friends, don’t leave gates/ doors open. Walk your dogs, keep them safe, they mean world to you . For others, they are dogs.  For us, they are world,  our life.

Kuro, A black female Labrador retriever dog is reported to be missing from Shastri Nagar, Pune since the evening hours of March 5, 2016. It is assumed that Kuro managed to escape when the gate was left open.

She was wearing a red dog collar at the time of incident. Please contact Missing Dog Helpline or call the dog owner directly at +91 7875 55 9988 in case of any information on whereabouts of this dog or similar dogs in Pune region.
