“Tring tring……..The phone was ringing continuously by .8:17 a.m. on 15 April 2016. “Apka dog humare paas hai madam” an unknown guy said. My ears were just not believing it. I took his address and left in search of his house”
THE STORY STARTS HERE…
“Heaven” a male pug of 1-2 year old went missing on 31 March 2016 from 8:35 pm onward, from sector 15, Rohini, New Delhi. Actually the day when Heaven went missing, I had taken him for a walk in the evening. After a while as we were just enjoying our night walk, a street dog tried to frightened my little one, and suddenly Heaven slipped from my hands and ran away. I tried reaching him but he disappeared somewhere.”
I informed my family members; we all tried to search him but were left in despair. Everyday, as the day passed the fear of finding him was really very doubtful. We tried all means just to find my little one, we had informed all our friends and relatives but all was left with tearful eyes. My Heaven was such a wonderful and lovable child by all. We had posters put in our areas full. 15 days passed and we were still in search of him. I was uncontrolled with my tears and was in front of my God asking him to give back my Heaven. Lastly from somewhere a big intuition hit me that I should contact MISSING DOG HELPLINE on 14th April. They responded immediately and calmed me down and also brought out positivist in me in bringing hope of getting back Heaven.
Missing report of Heaven was made live at 1:00 am on 15th April in social media which went viral by reaching 5000+ views by morning 8 a.m. It was soothing to my eyes and brought me back to life.
In the morning at around 8:17 a.m., I got a call from Mr. Sonu claiming that my dear pet is with him and some of his friends saw our post and posters and informed him regarding the owner. I left for his house immediately. My heart was getting heavier, just wanted to identify him and that should be my dear one. That good guy Sonu had also informed in the police regarding the dog he got, such a good soul he was.
I easily identified my Heaven, my world stopped for that very moment when I took him to my arms. I was so much happy on seeing him. I was not seeing him from last 15 days. Ohhh, I JUST DON’T WANT TO REMEMBER THOSE DAYS.I was continuously crying with joy. FINALLY, I GOT MY HEAVEN BACK. I am thankful to the good guy Mr. Sonu who gave shelter to our Pug. Actually, he was unable to locate us as he was around 8 Kms away from our home. But the publishing helped us, the viral post in Missing Dog Helpline page and the posters helped us a lot. He got our pug on 31 March 10:30 pm itself after seeing Heaven was chased by stray dogs. Sonu, your big heart saved my dear one or else I would have been devastated each passing day. Now I am too happy and thankful to Mr Sonu and Missing Dog Helpline for their immediate response, concern and the viral post which was too helpful for us.
After I got my dog back, I informed Missing Dog Helpline. They were too happy and advised me to take my pet to veterinary doctor immediately for check up. Today my mind is calm and happy that I found my heaven.
