Dog found in Hyderabad
A Labrador dog has been rescued from Hyderabad. Rescuer Ms. Aparajita spotted a dog with a collar on Jan 11, 2014 on the side of the busy highway ( Medchel – Kompally road). It came near her when she stopped the car. When she patted it it sat down obediently near her feet. It looks starved, its rib cage bones are visible, but most horrible is its left ear – a torn and bloody mess. She took it to veterinarian who said the ear cannot be saved. It has been given first aid and antibiotics and they have left it at the PFA shelter in Afzalganj. It needs proper care and has to be nursed back to health. The dog looks like a Labrador. It may be about a year or two old, with very intelligent eyes. It obviously is a pet as it knows human beings and is unafraid.
