A few minutes back I received confirmed information from Ms. Keerthi, owner of a  missing Indian Dog Cupcake, that Cupcake is reunited with family in Chennai.
Cupcake went missing from her home at Vyasarpadi, Chennai on November 4, 2013. She had been very perturbed by the Diwali firecracker. She slipped out when somebody left the gate open in the building.
Cupcake walked right into the owner’s parents’ house in Peravallur (she went missing from her adoptive home in Vyasarpadi). That’s where she was fostered for several months before she got adopted.
Keerthi’s family is totally stunned that Cupcake managed to find her way there. That’s an Indian mongrel’s intelligence for all the snobbish people out there who snigger at these wonderful native dogs.
Keerthi expressed “Our poor baby went missing over a month ago and we have been so saddened that all our efforts towards finding her over the last month did not yield any results. We thought we had lost her forever. I’m so far away from my parents right now and haven’t even seen her. This is the best-goddamned News I’ve ever received! It will be a Merry Christmas indeed! Oh and Cupcake had her blue collar intact! She’s quite famished though. Thank you everyone for helping spread the word about Cuppy!” Â Â
Cupcake looks very thin but Keerthi looks very determined to fatten her before Christmas. Happy Reunion Cupcake! – Missing Dog Helpline
