A 1-2 years old male Miniature Pinscher dog “Dobo” is missing from Nadar Colony, Trichy Road, Coimbatore since June 2015.
“Dobo is a Miniature Pinscher with no tail. Dad was out of town, Mum and I were at work. Our maids were at home along with a couple construction workers. He usually stays in my room when construction goes on. The neighbour reported that he noticed my dog outside with a white dog (he never plays with street dogs; he despises them and will create a commotion). But the auto rickshaw groups and the small food stalls did not see him leave the colony and if he did leave on his own , he would have definitely created a scene with the street dogs, but they all confirmed that there was neither barking nor were there dogs fighting the whole missing period.
We searched behind the colony (the recently demolished slum area), race course (interior and exterior), the whole of Trichy road and Sungam bypass road.We did a search from 6.30pm (when we returned home and found him not there) until 9.30pm and also the next day from 6.00 am to 8.30 am. We also went to all his known favourite spots.” –dog owner Informed
Dog owner has suspected of abduction. Dobo was wearing a Black dog collar at the time of incident.
