A dog story by Sharanya Shetty..
14 years…
My longest relationship…
My first experience as a pet parent..
My constant companion…
My SHIKDUM..
They say memories are golden.
Well may be that is true but I never wanted memories, I only wanted you… And the only time you have hurt me is yesterday, when you left me forever for your journey across the rainbow bridge…
A million times I’ll need you,
A million times I will cry and if love alone could have saved you..
You never would have never died…
In life I loved you and stud so dearly, In death I will love you’ll still. In my heart you both hold a place which no one will ever fill.
And If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane, I’d walk the path to heaven and bring you both back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing will ever be the same again. But as God calls us all one by one, then the chain will link again. I might adopt a 100 more babies until I live, but you and stud will always be my precious forever..
You lived your life with us like a princess the most pampered child of the family, loved and pampered by everyone who came home the attention seeker of the house.. the spoilt brat of the family.. you knew exactly how to get your way thru us… and you were the reason why Sharan is here today you were the reason why I decided on giving love and care to the less privileged souls around.. you will always be missed so much my love.. 2016 and 2017 took away the most precious parts of my souls forever.. but I’m happy that the mother and the son have reunited, I am sure my stud was waiting for you across the rainbow bridge and you both are playing away freely, wait for me my babies until my time to see you both there ..
God took you both up to heaven because he wanted the love you bestowed upon us for this 14 years
I bet you’re peacefully lying upon an angel’s lap…
Wagging your tale without a care…
And having a heavenly nap…
I’ll miss you for a little while,
But our bond will not end…
Time will pass, and then at last,
You’ll be on my lap again…
