Sumo, the missing Boxer has been reunited with his family. Many animal lovers worked together to make this happen.
The day he went missing, the family searched for him all day and night but there was no sign of him. A lawyer who saw him at a tea stall that morning and the next, took him home and asked a friend to foster him till his family could be found. The friend posted his details on Facebook. Then on Feb 14, 2015, someone saw a poster that the family had put up at Dr Rana’s clinic in Niti Bagh. She rang the family to ask for more details, which they sent her. Sumo’s pictures and details were widely circulated by email earlier today. Another animal lover who received the email remembered having seen Sumo’s foster parent’s post on Facebook and the rest, as they say, is history! Sumo’s in great shape, he was looked after beautifully by his rescuers. He’s one lucky dog!
