A 1-2 years old male Labrador Dog “Whiskey” is missing from Navi Mumbai since October, 3 2015
I was walking the dog and it had been raining slightly. He got startled when my Umbrella scratched against the wall and since I was holding the Umbrella and the leash in same hand when he pulled the umbrella got entangled in the leash and when he pulled it fell down and started dragging behind him. This startled him and he ran for his life and kept running. My complex is quite big yet he ran outside into the adjacent mangrove area. We immediately were alerted by passer-bys and we went looking for him but unfortunately couldn’t locate him. We have been going back to that area. We asked people around to keep vigil but no luck. have posted pamphlets and posters of him in the neighbourhood but cant seem to find him.- Dog owner informed Missing Dog Helpline
Whiskey is a trained dog and wasn’t wearing any dig collar at the time of incident. Dog owner suspects of abduction.
